This was a chance to give them the happy ever after they deserved. The theme was that ex that you never got over, and in my short story, My Forever Girl, I got the chance to write two lovely characters, Brayden and Faith, who were torn apart by tragedy. In it I had the honour of writing alongside Carsen Taite and Ali Vali. The second project I've been a part of this year is an anthology called, Still Not Over you. When the Rosebrook estate comes up for sale, Evan jumps at the chance to make her vision of a utopian eco community come to life.Ĭlementine is wary of the good-looking newcomer, but Evan is determined to win over the beautiful duchess and prove that sometimes dreams really do come true. As CEO of her family toy company, she creates fuel for the imagination. Clementine grew up watching her mother struggle and now lives in the small gatehouse behind her former family home.Įvan Fox has a dream that could change the world and save the planet. After her grandmother and famous social reformer blew the family fortune on her dream of creating a new kind of community, the family land was sold off and their coffers drained. Here is the teaser -Ĭlementine Fitzroy, Duchess of Rosebrook, doesn’t trust dreamers. In Duchess And The Dreamer, the village of Rosebrook is dying a slow death, that is until the super positive and super sweet Evan Fox turns up. In May I had a new village romance come out. Now that I write, I'm able to lose myself even more in love, in the friendship of village romances, the dedication to a mate, in the werewolf books, and the passion in of the vampires. Some people say happy ever afters aren't realistic, but I think real life has enough worries and stress itself, without reading about heartbreak too.

Before I started writing I read and read to lose myself in a world of happy ever afters. If there's one thing that 2020 has taught me is that in stressful and scary times, books are even more important, as both a reader and a writer,īooks are an escape. So I thought it was high time for a catch up. As well as the craziness of the world in the last months, I've been trying to keep up with writing and editing my forthcoming books. First of all, apologies for not keeping up with my monthly blogs.
